Simple Omelette Recipe

An easy and quick dish, perfect for any meal. This classic omelette combines beaten eggs cooked to perfection, optionally filled with your choice of cheese, vegetables, or meats.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow pepper, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the peppers and zucchini and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.
  5. Beat the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return the pan to the heat and add the beaten eggs.
  7. When the eggs are almost set, add the cooked vegetables to one side of the omelette.
  8. Flip the other side of the omelette over the vegetables and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  9. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve immediately.
